      Many classic tidbits in there...

      What's your sign? Feces.

Delivering flowers dressed as the Easter Bunny.

His father boxing under the name Johnny Lemons.

Becoming the highest played defensive player in the game upon signing a 5 year deal for $1.25 million (and being fined 200 bucks).
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I remember reading this back when I was 9 or 10...

I was fascinated with Lambert because I was able to meet him briefly a few times because my older brother attended the football camp he mentioned in the article. It was held first at Malone College and then at Mount Union College...

He was cordial to everyone, but to my 10 year old self, he seemed to always have something scary smoldering beneath the surface...perhaps I built it up in my mind...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Maybe it's because you forgot to say "Please" when asking for an autograph...

i know most of the time he was cordial and generous. but I went to latrobe when i was 14 and dying to get any autograph. after practice i was along the fence as they climbed the stairs to the locker room. here comes jack. maybe he was having a bad day - but I pleaded for his signature and he looked at me, snarled and said 'F off kid'.

I thought it was the most awesome thing ever........

Sounds like someone forgot to say, "Please,"....

The story is better than some scribble on a scrap of paper anyway.
