Report: Le'Veon Bell Skipped Drug Test, Facing Suspension

running back Le'Veon Bell missed the first two games of the 2015 season after being suspended following an arrest for marijuana suspension, and he may now be facing another suspension.

According to Mark Madden of 105.9 the X, Bell skipped out on a league mandated drug test and could face further discipline.

The Steelers are hoping he can return to his 2014 form, where he ran for 1,361 yards and eight touchdowns while accumulating 854 yards and three touchdowns receiving.

This suspension would be another big blow for the Steelers, who will be without wide receiver Martavis Bryant for the season due a suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

A rumor circulated on Twitter today regarding Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell and the possibility that he could be suspended for skipping a drug test, but we decided not to mention it because it was, after all, just a rumor. However, Bell was asked about the rumor this afternoon, and we’ll now pass along his denial.

“I haven’t missed any drug tests, failed any drug tests. I am fine,” Bell said, via Mark Kaboly of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.

Bell said there are no truth at all to the rumors.

NFL players are required to make themselves available to the league’s drug testing program and can be suspended for failing to appear for drug tests. But Bell says any rumor that he did that is wrong.
