SMOKIN!!!! AB is set to rule again this year! I guess all that dancing strengthened those ankles and he's faster now than he was when he was drafted 6 years ago.

Antonio Brown's last 3 seasons were absolutely incredible.

2013: 110-1499-8
2014: 129-1698-13
2015: 136-1834-10
3 year total: 375-5031-31

The most dominant WR among Antonio's peers has been Calvin Johnson, and the best 3 year stretch for him was 302-5137-33 (2011-2013).

Before Megatron, the best WR in the league was likely Larry Fitzgerald, and his best 3 year stretch was 293-3932-35 (2007-2009).

If you look at Randy Moss, he had two really impressive 3 year stretches in his career, the first with Minnesota at 299-4212-34 (2001-2003) and the second with New England at 250-3765-47 (2007-2009).

If you look at Terrell Owens back in his San Francisco days before he because a mercenary for hire, his best 3 year stretch was 290-4063-42 (2000-2002).

And we can even look back at the greatest of all time Jerry Rice, whose best 3 year stretch was 332-4850-43 (1993-1995).

The last 3 years for Brown stack up favorably with any of these guys...and I know it's completely different eras and all, but you can even compare Brown's last 3 seasons (375-5031-31) against the entire 9 year career of beloved Hall of Famer Lynn Swann (336-5462-51). That's just crazy. AB's going be donning a gold jacket himself one day. I just hope he gets a better haircut that is bronze bust worthy.

Swannie was the team's primary punt returner as a rookie (41 punt returns for 577 yards and a TD, and also 2 kick returns for 11 yards in 1974). He only returned punt occasionally after that, though (20 punt returns for 162 yards for the rest of his career).

The single season receiving yardage record is 1964 yards by Calvin Johnson in 2012. AB was 130 yards short of the all time record (still the 4th best receiving season in NFL history...Antonio also had the 8th best receiving season in NFL history the year before that), and he had 3 games in a row in early October with 5-42-0, 3-45-0, and 3-24-0 for a total of 6-111-0 in 3 games with Vick and Landry at the helm. He did better than that in a single game EIGHT times last year.

The single season yards from scrimmage record is 2509 yards by Chris Johnson in 2009. The only time Le'Veon started all 16 games, he had 2215 yards from scrimmage. Is Le'Veon capable of averaging at least 100 yards per game on the ground (a 1600+ rushing season) and getting another 900 yards through the air (he caught 83 balls for 854 yards in 2014)?

If Ben, Brown, Bell, and the o-line are healthy this season, both of those all time NFL records could be in serious jeopardy.

Steelers players think Antonio Brown can top 2,000 receiving yards

Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown finished the 2015 season with 1,834 receiving yards, which was good for second in the league behind Julio Jones and the fourth-best total in the history of the NFL.

Brown put up those numbers despite playing in an offense that was missing quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for four full games and parts of others, leaving many with the opinion that he would have become the first player with 2,000 receiving yards in a season if Roethlisberger had been healthy. It’s also left some of his teammates feeling like Brown could hit that milestone this season.

Backup quarterback Bruce Gradkowski called it “realistic” and guard Roman Foster said he’s “going to bet on” Brown if the wideout makes a push for the magic number.

“I think it is possible,” wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey said, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “Just think: Calvin Johnson had [1,942 yards in 2012], so you know you can get close to it. Everybody knows what he is capable of. I don’t want to put that pressure on him, but it is definitely possible.”

Brown wouldn’t make any predictions, saying that it “is a lot of yards” and noting that it remains to be seen how teams will defend the Steelers with Martavis Bryant out of the picture. His chances are also going to be tied closely to Roethlisberger’s health, but Brown’s track record makes his chances as good or better than anyone’s to set a new single-season record for receiving yards.

Vince Wilfork, Antonio Brown, Von Miller get naked for “Body Issue”

If you want to see Texans defensive tackle Vince Wilfork, Steelers receiver Antonio Brown and Broncos linebacker Von Miller in the nude, you’re in luck.

ESPN has announced that those three NFL players are among the athletes who will appear in this year’s “Body Issue,” which is ESPN’s answer to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, only (as Kevin Garnett and Stephon Marbury memorably said) all nude.

The enormous Wilfork said he’s excited to show what an athlete his size looks like.

“I know I don’t have the six-packs and the eight-packs and all that . . . but I’m perfectly fine with what I am.” Wilfork said, in a statement released by ESPN. “If people can look at me, look at a guy that’s 325-plus doing an issue like this, I’m pretty sure that they might have a little confidence after seeing that it’s OK to be who you are.”

Unlike the Swimsuit Issue, which is purely salacious, the Body Issue has real journalistic merit as an endeavor to show what athletes of all shapes and sizes really look like. Wilfork, Brown and Miller are joining 16 other athletes from several different sports in showing off their assets.
