    Safeties for Day2+

I have to believe we go Safety in Round 2 since we have no one to start next to Mitchell.

I remain intrigued by Su'a Cravens, but not sure he can play Safety. Also intriqued by Jayron Kearse but not til Round 4 or later.

What remaining Safety best fits us and could play in 2016???? Here is the list:

    Vonn Bell - Ohio State
    Darian Thompson - Boise State
    Su'a Cravens - USC
    T.J. Green - Clemson
    Jeremy Cash - Duke
    K.J. Dillon - West Virginia

The size, speed and athleticism that Green brings to the table is enticing.

Thompson is a well rounded player, but I'm a bit worried about his speed, even after he improved. I'm not a big fan of Bell and don't think Cravens sticks at safety. I'd be fine with Dillon or Cash in the third. I like Cash as a Box safety but he's not good in coverage.

Other guys that could make sense are Justin Simmons from BC, Jalen Mills from LSU or Sean Davis from Maryland. There are plenty of safeties out there this year and I think the Steelers can snag one in round 3.

Vonn Bell has a nose for the ball...I mean, Gerod Holliman did as well, but Bell isn't afraid to tackle...

Also, the last time we took someone named Bell in the second, it worked out well...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Holliman - that one was funny... Rare time DeVille says, "god no" to a Louisville player... that should have tipped you all off.

Sean Davis has to be in consideration. Maryland product brought in 4/11 who played a year at cb. But he is a nice sized safety 6 1 201 and 4.44 37 vert. Big hitter and would look good in big nickle ...closer to los the better I believe.

            Tampa cut Holliman today.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I think Bell and Cash will be gone before the Steelers pick in round 2. Tyvis Powell in round 3 would be a nice pick.

I think Bell will be gone but I think Cash should be there, since he's more of an in the box guy and league is looking for cover guys now.

I was thinking that too, he would be a good pick, imagine POWell! with the hard hit!

But I want to trade up now, even give up a future 3rd to grab Bell.

At this rate, could even be Billings in the third. Shows how much the pass rush means to teams I guess. Wasn't the knock on Billings a lack of pass rush?
