I would think that JJ would have to hit...10 sacks to earn another contract. It's a big jump but he will be 28 the first year of his new deal. He has to show up in a big way this year to stick around.

Well that is consistent with the 4898 retorts claiming how wrong I am about Jones and how he has just had "bad luck," "needs more time," "needs to get bigger and stronger," "is good against he run," etc. Pretty much every excuse to avoid acknowledging thus far all indications are he was a bad pick chosen for his ability to sack the QB which he doesn't seem to be able to do. But hope springs eternal, maybe this year...or maybe not
