Steelrs lost a faithful fan today

My father went home today. He was one of the biggest Steeler fans in Pittsburgh. He used to paint banners for fans who went to the games at Three Rivers. He was good friends with Earnie Holmes and brought him to my 1st birthday party.

In a few days he will be laid to rest and a Terrible Towel will be in his casket.

More than anything though, he was a good man. He talked a lot of $hit and had jokes for days but he always looked out for anyone in need.

I'm going to set off a few fireworks for him tonight. He would set off a few after every TD or Steeler wins.

    I'm truly sorry, feltdizz.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Hard to lose your dad. You don't ever truly "get over it."

Hope you have a great celebration of his life.

Sorry to hear it, man. Remember that he got the opportunity to meet his grandchild before he left...that's a blessing.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

In view of the fact that Mike Tomlin has matched Cowhers record I give him the designation:
