how do you think the officiating was ?

if anything, i thought carolina benefited a little bit. mostly due to all the non calls for offensive holding.
both teams got boned by a PI call that didnt get called.
i thought the cotch non-catch that was reviewed and upheld was the proper call. i could see some disagreeing tho

I might just be attuned to OL holding because of James Harrison, but it seemed like the Carolina LT and LG did a lot of that.

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

Yea, Von Miller got the James Harrison treatment.

funny, i visited(not joined or posted) a couple panther message boards and they seem to think the refs gave all the calls to denver so peyton could win.
i thought cam was given preferential treatment.

I thought Michael Oher was false starting 3/4 of the game and was only called a few times.

I also thought the refs were too trigger happy with the personal foul calls.

I thought Cotchery caught that first pass that was challenged. Besides that I think the officiating was ok.

I thought the Cotchery call was a bad miss by the replay guys. He had his hand under it and it never hit the ground after he rolled over. Also thought Denver was off sides (or lined up in the neutral zone at a minimum) on the Carolina missed FG. Just looking at the stats - Carolina had 12 penalties for 102 yards and Denver had 6 for 51.

Overall though, I wouldn't say the refs had a hand in the outcome. Calls get missed every game and there was nothing egregious that happened last night.

I thought the tip of the football hit the ground as he was gaining control the first time. After Cotchery rolled over the ball never touched the ground, but I feel like it hit the ground as he gained control, then it moved around a bit, but never hit the ground the 2nd time. My wife thought the call would get overturned and I thought it stay as called on the field, maybe the evidence was incontrovertible, but I thought it was the right call.

I agree about the offensive hold no calls on Carolina. All I want is for the NFL refs to call the games consistently. The same as week 1 all the way thru. They seem to let them play more towards the end of the season- just wish it were that way all year. Such a joke.

I thought the refs missed a couple of false starts. I really don't think the officials had anything to do with the outcome of the game. These two teams controlled their destiny and not the refs.

On the Carolina missed FG, Denver jumped - Talib I think.

how about the carolina players grabbing the denver punt returner way before he caught the ball.
                          WTF was that?

I don't know, I see a lot of OT's kick back right before the ball,is snapped and they never call it.

If the officials keep up this crusade of theirs of calling all sorts of game stopping bull**** penalties, the fans will be driven to watching soccer.
