This is why I believe that ANY play should be challengeable. Still have the same number of challenges - so the game isn't going to take any longer. But give the coach the ability to challenge Pass Interference on a significant play that could possibly affect the outcome of a game.

Jesse freaking James had 1 catch and three yards in the past MONTH, and that was the play this simpleton came up with? And to make matters even worse he also took Bryant off the field, and had Matt Spaeth run a pass pattern. And people wonder why this play failed?

Once again, rather than stick to your talent, Haley decides once again to show everyone how smart he is. He's the kid in class who copies my test scores all year, then decides to take the final on his own.

And as usual, he ended up flunking the course.

Again, I'm not crazy about Haley's personnel choices on that play, but the fact is, the ball hit Wheaton in the chest. He should have had it. A pro needs to make that catch. I'm not going to blame Haley for Wheaton's failure to do what he's paid to do in that situation.

play call was fine IMO. the decision to go deep was not.

The problem that i have with the play call, although I'd have more of an issue with it, say if it were in the 4th Qtr, is that Jesse James was the primary option. If it were me? Besides AB, and he wasn't playing, who is your most reliable pass catcher? I'd say Heath. I would've had a play to Heath there. But that's me. Personally, I'd say slam the damn ball down their throats and run it, but I'd prefer Bell to do that, with a FB leading the way, but injuries....

Not sure how Wheaten is getting blamed when you have Talib, a 6'1"/ 200+ lb corner who's been a pro bowl selection 3 years in a row in blanket coverage with at least 1 pic showing his hand on the ball. It was a touch under thrown.

A 1st there and just a few more yards and there's a good shot a FG if the drive stalled again.

Yep. Wheaton cannot make the big play on the ball. An Antonio Brown or even Santonio Holmes type player makes that catch in traffic.

Time and again he is not physical enough. Bryant also is guilty of this but has much more potential.
