Anyone still want Wheaton over Bryant?

Count me out. I love what Bryant brings to this offense. The drops are frustrating but when you step back and watch other teams you realize all WR's have ugly drops from time to time.

Wheaton could turn out like Sanders.
However I think Sanders had more overall potential but he never produced in Pittsburgh

Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Oh yeah. I like Bryant over Wheaton also, especially if Coates emerges

While Wheatons overall numbers weren't bad,he leaves you with the feeling that there should/could be so much more.

Wheaton is a guy who is fine as slot receiver. He's fairly reliable and has some quickness. Bryant is an absolute athletic freak who needs to work on consistency. Wheaton is signed through 2016 so there is no need to make a decision now. I wouldn't rush to extend Wheaton but I wouldn't be in a rush to move on from him, either.

That applies to pretty much any Steeler still on his rookie contract...

Like I said in preseason, Coates will end up taking Wheaton's job, Bryant is a matchup nightmare and he is excellent with the ball in his hands. Bryant just needs to cut down on some of the easy drops.

Two different types of receivers. Wheaton is a possession, move the chains guy much like Hines was. Bryant is a game changer.

That said, I will reserve my final opinion until we see if Bryant can stay away from the drugs in the off season.

Wheaton is solid but Bryant is dangerous and makes a lot of plays so the choice is pretty obvious.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

yeah, he definitely has to stay clean this off season.

I see he is a "possession" type receiver, but Wheaton CANNOT be named as anywhere near the caliber of a Hines Ward on ANY skill.

Not only that, I can't even imagine this as a legitimate question. Bryant has shown unbelievable ability, and is probably already one of the best #2 WR in this league... with the potential to eventually become a legitimate #1. Wheaton is an OK #3, and below average as a #2 WR.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.
