Knowing if you fail and get the ball and score again you can still tie the game with 2 pt conversion. On the other hand, if you make the first 2 pt conversion and get the ball back and score all you have to do is kick the XP to win the game.

This is the kind of thinking that coaches use. What decision minimizes my chance of being fired. Not what decision maximizes my chance of winning.

That's what I was thinking, play for OT or try and win in regulation. I don't think I'd be upset with either option, I'm leaning toward the 2 pt and XP to win.

Well, now with XPs being missed more frequently I think its something to consider especially when you're on the road.
