do you have rituals/superstitions for Steeler games?

in 2005 I watched the playoffs on a 13" color tv. I watched the first game on it and decided to give it a tty,to the Indy game and the rest is history.

in 2008 I had a Steeler rug of Heinz Field and I would sit our cat on it any time we needed a good play.

This year I have a baby girl and dressed her in a Steeler onesie for the game. She fell asleep but woke up for the last 5 minutes of the game.

So now she has to wear that same onsie and stay awake if the game is close.

I always eat kielbasa, pierogies, and sauerkraut about an hour before kickoff. Just feels like Steelers food to me.

I have a special Steelers shirt that I make my wife wear. She submits without argument.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Slappy and his wife used to have a mini unicorn, but then Joey Porter moved into their neighborhood.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

No, seriously...she's like, "When's the game?" I'm like, "In 10 minutes." She leaves the room and comes back wearing the shirt.

Not everything I ask for goes that smoothly...

Just in case she started to doubt the power of the shirt, I showed her the Gary Patterson story...

Used to have the ticket and watch all the games. Now I rarely watch live. When I did watch all the time, this is what I would do:

                    1. wear my 86 with my wife in her 43.
                    2. Got the terrible towel going on 3rd downs.
                    3. As especially important moments, I would hold up and bang my "Pittsburgh Steelers Drive" sign (looks like a decorative street sign / licence plate).

This is gonna sound strange but I always watch the first half of every Steelers game in my living room then I watch the second half in my bedroom. This tradition started many years ago when the Steelers would play on Monday nights and I would need to go to bed to get up for work Tuesday morning. Since I would never fall asleep until the game was over anyhow I just decided to make a tradition out of it.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

These last couple weeks, I've been helping us win by wearing Steelers boxers, a Penguin tshirt, and a Pirates ball cap backward.

I think a glass of tequilla has been helping too. I got a bottle for Xmas and it was the key to the Bills beating the Jets for us. I didn't realize it's power, but I poured a second glass after the Burfict INT and look what happened. It's powerful stuff.

I also have to play Renegade 5 min before kickoff. And a couple more times throughout the game just to make sure the guys heard it in big spots.

I've also been standing in front of the tv recently when we're on Defense. That seems to help.

Overall, my superstitions are more important during playoff time. I look at them like play calling. I got a couple of them scripted for the start of the game, but as we get into the game, I adjust to how the game is playing out. As the game ebbs and flows, so do my rituals. Sometimes I throw in a new wrinkle and if it works, I go with it.

This was my same problem but at all away games... I had to go to a home game to break that curse so now we win at away games when I'm there

Good thing you didn't say "when I watch them on TV."
