    Updated Status on Ben's Injury?

I've heard reports on him that vary from "a slightly separated shoulder" to "an AC joint sprain" to "a mild shoulder strain." I've heard suggestions that range from "likely to play" to "day to day" to "out for 1 to 3 weeks." Anybody have a recent update? A link would be nice, if you have it.

    Thanks.

Oh, and any updates on Brown or DeAngelo would be appreciated as well.

Last I heard, Ben will play and AB and DW will be out. But I've heard Ben will be out and AB will play too.

Pretty sure DW is gonna be out.

I think there's a lot of guessing and no one knows for sure.

Time for Bryant to shine. Truly, it could end up being MB's finest hour.

Bens playing...Brown needs to be 72 hours w/o any concussion symptoms.
Adam Schefter reported sources say Brown is out, but that guys a moron.
Hopefully it's all smoke and mirrors regarding Brown.
                I read Williams is out.

                  Thanks, everyone.

I was able to find this report from early this evening. Doesn't look good for Brown playing.

Should be a fun game to watch; gimp-armed Manning vs gimp-armed Roethlisberger. What's the over/under on total yards passing?

While he wouldn't comment on whether Burfict's hit was legal or not, the elder Brown did say that he has spoken to his son, and that Pittsburgh's All-Pro receiver will play in Sunday's divisional round game against the Broncos

Unfortunately, it's not up to what Brown says. He has to pass very specific tests throughout the week or he won't play.

Been through this with a couple of the kids i coach.
                          72 hours with no symptoms.
                          Do you have memory loss?
                          Do you have a headache?
                          Do you have blurry vision?
                          Do you have trouble concentrating?
                          Any speech problems?
                          Are you sensitive to light?
If AB says no to all, guess what?

I'd love to see AB playing, but only if he's truly recovered from his concussion. If he comes back too soon, and God forbid gets another head shot, it could derail his career--or worse.

It's not that simple. There are cognitive tests, reaction time tests, eye tracking technology, etc. that he must perform for the independent neurologist (not a Steeler team doctor) and if his scores on these type of tests are significantly lower than what they were when he took those same tests before the season started when he was totally healthy, then he's still a no go even if he self-reports no symptoms for 3 straight days. You can't fake this.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
