He's been money all year (well, since we picked him up) and his KOs on Saturday were excellent 4 out of 5 out of the end zone I believe.

The point is moot. If Scooby was still on the roster then this team would not have made the playoffs.

Now that the Steelers have seen how he performs in inclement weather, he has really made the Suisham decision very difficult...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

It will be an interesting battle between Suisham and Boswell next summer. IMO the latter has earned his roster spot already. Feel bad for good guy Suisham

If we gave the Jagoffs a 6th for Scooby, maybe some desperate team will do even better for a kicker that is worth a damn...

With money tied up in Scobee too, financially it makes sense to just take the hit next year. Boswell is good on kick offs, has leg strength, and is just ice cold on FGs.

Boswell is younger, cheaper, and getting the job done in a big way. Suisham is one of the best kickers the steelers have ever had, but Boswell is giving them kicking power that suisham doesnt have. Coming off a serious knee injury, with a big cap hit, it only makes sense.

IMO, you do what we did with Berry and Wing this year...let them both show their ability and trade the one who loses the competition...

Slap, you would not factor in the age difference? I would.

With what Boswell has done during the season and now with making the clutch FGs in this playoff game, inclement weather, included. I don't think there should even be a competition for the job. It belongs to Boswell. It's sad for Suisham, I really think highly of the guy. I hope he recovers well and has a some more good seasons.

I agree. They have both had their try-outs, on the field of play, and under duress.

Unless the Wizard of Boz crumples in these next three games this year (see what I did there? ), there is no more info needed.

                          The kicker from Rice,

                          For the Wizard of Boz!!

Agree completely. I'd add a few caveats - no kickoffs for Suisham in the preseason, and don't trade either guy until the preseason is done.
