Rex Ryan is going to beat the Jets. His pride and ego won't let it happen any other way. We just have to beat the Browns.
If you had see the Jets play on Sunday you wouldn't be thinking it. The Jets are wired to go deep into the playoffs and the Bills have their bags packed just like the Steelers!!! As much as we need defensive help, it is time to groom a new QB. Ben is clearly headed down.

Whatever.
I can see the Jets losing.... and then us losing too.. DOH!

In case anyone cares if the Bengals win tonight, the Bills win next weekend, the Chargers win next weekend and the Steelers beat the Browns the Steelers will be the 5th seed.

i'm with you on the jets... came into yesterday feeling like the steelers needed to win both games to make it. they blew it.
meanwhile, on ben... didn't they just come off 5 straight games with 30+ points? while I realize he didn't have a great game, when you consider how much our team ran and still lost the time of possession battle, I think the defense actually played a bigger role. they stank in the first half, and struggled get stops when they needed them late in the game.

I'm with you on the defense in the first half and giving up field position in the 2nd half and here's the "but", this team has to realize that any help they get from the defense is a bonus, which means the offense absolutely cannot lay an egg like yesterday especially against 3rd, and 4th string players. That puts a lot of pressure on the offense to score points, but its the only hope this team really has. The shortest field the Steeler offense had yesterday was 77 yards, their drives started as follows: 20, 20, 20, 17, 20, 21, 23 (short field ), 9, 20, 20, 20 That's tough sledding to score points and was a big problem yesterday. If the offense gets even one short field I think Ben and all the problems he had would have been able to win the game, unfortunately, the defense didn't give up many points but on a day when the offense was struggling the yards they gave up were just as bad as points.
