What a tale of 2 completely different games in the first vs. the 2nd half. It must have been so painful to sit there and watch the first half. And so incredibly awesome to watch (I mean scream at!) what happened throughout the entire 2nd half.

It was an emotional rollercoaster, first half was such a downer and the air was sucked out of the stadium. The second half was incredible the entire stadium was living and dying with every play.

Did they play "Renegade?" Always curious about what happens after that?

When that song comes on and the towels are all waiving it is an incredible site.

Yesterday's game resembled a lot like the Ravens game a few years back. A real downer until after half time.

Feltdizz: Don't put words in my mouth. (Some might say "Quit lying", but I'm being charitable). I said no such thing. I said both halves were played in the same stadium. Same crowd, same towels, same song. Yet the second half was 180 degrees opposite from the first. Not unusual when one team dominates in the first half. They relax a bit while the other team cranks it up a couple notches, an avalanche starts and it becomes hard to stop. See; e., g., Carolina vs. Giants. Carolina up 35-7 and ultimately needs a FG to win 38-35.

who is putting words in your mouth?

I said playing at home was one of the reasons the defense played better in the second half and you keep asking why the home advantage didn't work in the first half.

probably because the air was sucked out of the stadium in the first half and crowds tend to get much louder in the 4th quarter.

You may think a home crowd doesn't have an impact but it does... this is why teams try to get home field advantage for the playoffs.

it's definitely not the same crowd noise in the first half vs the 2nd its rare for a crowd to maintain noise levels for 4 quarters.

Dude, thank you, I loved that! Reminds me of my trip to see them a few years ago, Ben's first game back. Renegade that day ... still sends shivers up my spine.

I *loved* the mixing of the 70's (Bradshaw throwing a pass to AB #84) - brilliant!

i agree, tale of two halves. the first half I had an obnoxious donkey fan next to me. by the time we tied it up he was more blitzed than the denver offense and when Os threw that pick he jumped up, dropped f-bombs and spilled his 14th beer on the row in front of him. that was enough to be escorted out by the PoPo's.

so as frustrated as i was for the first - the second half was glorious, culminating in an arrest of a douchebag and a great win.

why people feel the need to drink 9 dollar beers in quantity at heinz field is beyond me........
