Every time burfbrain came off the field

I screamed at the TV " let him come back in the game"

so so we could finish him.

    How about you??

dont think I've hated a player more since ray ray left the game

and just like Ray Ray I wish he played for the black and gold.
As many on this site think ... The Rooney's suck, Colbert sucks, Tomlin sucks, the coaches suck, and the players suck.

    but Go Steelers!!!

For me, I'm glad we didn't have either of them...

IMO, they make better villains than heroes...

Hines Ward made a better hero than a villain...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

While I loved to hate guys like Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs, I acknowledge that they would have made awesome Steelers if they were drafted here.

Burfict, on the other hand, I just plain can't stand him. Trying to think of others I just don't like and never wanted any part of...Bart Scott? Ocho Cinco?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Ruthless, I agree with you completely on Burfict. He's a cheap player and there seems to be something seriously wrong with him.

Suggs, while I obviously would have liked to have somebody with his physical abilities on the Steelers, at the end of the day, that guy is scum. Dragging his g/f behind the car, threatening to drown her bleach, etc. - I'm glad I never had to root for him.

Pacman is another one I'm glad has never donned the Black & Gold.

I was thinking the same thoughts you had about those 2 players. Suggs somehow kept his domestic violence out of the media but if you dig around you find out that as a person he's a real P.O.S. And pacman is a women beater who was directly involved with a man getting paralyzed at a strip club. He's total garbage.

Couple of other names came to mind. All good (great) players but I would would have had a hard time rooting for them even in B&G: Bill Romanowski, Rodney Harrison, Terell Owens

Never realized all of that extra crap about Suggs...screw him too then. Plus he's uglier than anyone I've ever seen this side of Sam Cassell. Pac Man is another example of human garbage that you bring up as well. Interesting how so much of this trash ends up in Cincy or Baltimore.

                  (For those calling for it..)

Chadman might be the only one who says this aloud, but Chadman likes Terrell Owens. And if he had been a Steeler, distractions & all, you KNOW he'd have been amazing. And the 'hate' for Ocho Cinco... Chadman was good with him too. He wasn't half the player Owens was, but had he worn Black & Gold, he'd have become a legend here.

Suggs, Lewis, Bart Scott.... they are Steelers ON the field, but Ravens off the field. Hard to like those guys. Lucky we had our better versions- Farrior, Harrison etc.

Burfect.... he's a legend in his own helmet at this stage. A bit-part player in a reasonably good defense. Whoopee do.
The people that are trying to make the world worse never take a day off, why should I?

                  Light up the darkness.

                    Boston agrees with Chad here.

Ocho Cinco was entertaining. Like a less talented version of AB with a bit more self promotion. I loved that the Steelers owned him - I particularly remember the play where Anthony Smith clocked him and his grill fell out. Polamalu quietly picked it up and handed it to him. That was great. Fun rivalry player.

I've got to disagree on T.O. That guy set the Eagles franchise back by decades. Amazing player on the field but too much baggage off the field.

Maybe my memory is not so good anymore, but it seems that I would have appreciated Ocho's skills during the lean 'big WR' days of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Ruthless welcomes the return of third person Chadman and Boston's third person reply did not go unnoticed.

Burfict was not celebrating the tackle on Bell, he was celebrating the injury. If I recall, it was 1st and 10 and the pass to Bell was a 8 yard pickup. No one celebrates that on defense. Burfict looked back, saw Bell was injured and went running off doing some act. He's a dirty player and a scumbag.

I had no problem with Chad Johnson's actions until he wore that HOF 20?? coat on the sideline. Up until then I thought that it was all in fun - what kind of TD celebration would he come up with next type of thing. At that point it became very egocentric instead of entertaining. The name change just added to that.

Aside from that, he was a very good receiver. Never great, and never as good as he made himself out to be. I remember the checklist he had, something like "who can cover 85?". A few weeks and big games in, Ike held him pretty much in check and he still checked that game off.
