The three-year grace period before declaring a guy a wasted pick does not apply to guys who (1) already have a track record of problems in college, (2) keep getting into the same problems in the NFL, (3) cap it off by lying to the team and trying to get friends to support the lie. The leash was shorter to begin with and now Manziel has withdrawn whatever trust was left in his "trust me" account.

and they're right. Ben gets excused not once but twice for sexual assault AND the Steelers stood by him. The Clowns don't deserve a franchise QB (remains to be seen if Manziel is or not he hasn't gotten much of an audition) so I hope they release him and he goes on to be good for another team.Comment
