I don't really care about the yardage, as long as we don't give up td's and take the ball away I would say we are playing well.

The CBs are doing as they're told to do. Play off, give up some sh!t and don't break. When your CBs suck, this is what u have to do. Well, they don't suck, but they are far from playing on islands. I'd love to see what Boykin could do, but we'll probably not see him much.

This is how it has almost always been for this defense since 1991...with the exception of when we had Rod Woodson, our CBs have played off in predominantly zone schemes. Ike Taylor was able to use his athleticism to develop good coverage skills, but he had zero ball skills. Golson may be the guy who is a fit for this D who has some real ball skills.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Tomlin always raves about him. He could be the rare DB who is already age 30 that we'd be willing to sign and get a good 3 years out of.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Unfortunately, there will likely be other teams who will be willing to dole out some big $$$s to sign him. Not sure the Steelers will want to get into that kind of a spending competition.
