It's the second vid. I guess he is a friggin' beast! I can't wait to see these guys against Wislon in Seattle.

(PS - all 3 vids are excellent to watch).

A good bullrush often causes an LT to lose technique and take wider steps to remain on his feet.

Jones did a great job pushing him into the other LG

As soon as he engages JJ he steps on the LG - a bit of luck, but we'll take whatever we can get from Jones.

Thomas stepped on the LG's foot six yards deep in the backfield...

Straight up good play by Jones...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

            no... watch it again.

if Thomas could easily handle Jones he wouldn't overcompensate to take him on...

            Jones made that happen

It was a good play; but it was more an effort play than it was a "whoa" play. e.g. Cam's bull-rushes are "whoa". Harrison used to have them. I remember Kendrell Bell had a heckuva bull-rush from the inside.

It's not to say that it wasn't a good play... but as Jarvis/Steeler fans, we're looking for glimpses of the talent he is supposed to have had, as a 1st round guy. I don't remember that play as being that.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Again, compared to whom? Jarvis has more sacks this year than Dion Jordan, Barkevious Mingo and Bjorne Warner put together. And he has two freaking sacks!!!

Just like with Ziggy Hood, you have to look at the overall talent in that draft...

You mean like Tyler Eifert who got drafted right behind JJ and has 40 receptions and 9 TDs this season. Clearly we did not get the best player available.

Eifert is having a good year...it can take players time to become productive, especially considering injuries.
