Tomlin voted Motorola Coach of the Week

    NFL.com

Mike Tomlin of the Pittsburgh Steelers is the Motorola Coach of the Week for games played on Nov. 2-3.

Tomlin was selected as Motorola NFL Coach of the Week from among three finalists by voters on NFL.com. The other finalists were head coaches Tom Coughlin of the New York Giants and Marvin Lewis of the Cincinnati Bengals.

In January, voting will be held on NFL.com to determine the Motorola NFL Coach of the Year.

    First, congrats to Coach Tomlin.

Second, its a shame he was nominated alongside the trainwreck that is Marvin Lewis. It almost diminishes the award. I mean if you were nominated for Employee of the Month, but the dude that steals office supplies and sexually harrases the women all day is nominated with you, then you would feel dirty for winning it. Well maybe not.

In other news, the Bureau of Janitorial Workers of America announced that with this accomplishment, Mike Tomlin has earned Senior Janitor status. Way to go!

Does that mean he gets to carry the mop on gamedays? Funny, I havent seen any of those Tomlin detractors around lately

So, he's going from an overpaid janitor to a janitor that is earning his money?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

The funny part to me is that the hacks on the NFLN said that he won because the Steelers nation is huge, everywhere and computer savvy.

            True. But, he deserved it.

Can you imagine how pathetic it must be to try to live as a Bungals fan? Times are so bad that when your team finally wins one, your coach gets nominated for coach of the week?! I would hang my head if it happened to us. 1-8?!?!?!?!? Coach of the week?!?!!?

            Does not compute!

I just gotta wonder, is Steeler Nation really dissed in a very systematic manner by the main stream media, or are we just paranoid? Seems like there are SO many more announcers and such that are biased against the Steelers than are actually Steeler Fans or even neutral ...

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

On the other side of the coin, I believe Chris Berman actually likes the Steelers and hes the one that counts!

His analysis has been more spot on since he's lost 40lbs on Neutrasystem. :P

How about Jabba the Hut (Madden), Boomer Esaison. Sims? Aikman? Oh, and Cornholio (not the QB, the bald bearded guy, Kornheiser), I think he really hates the Steelers. I think Phil Simms is OK. And that ex-receiver from Cincy, I think he used to have it in for them, but he's gotten a bit better I think.

I'm glad that Boomer (the "could go all the way" guy) likes 'em!

Oh, you are right, Cornholio and Collinsworth are two big ones. In Spanish, yo lo odio. Cant even listen to those guys. Madden will never be a Steeler fan just based on the Immaculate Reception but I think he carries a healthy respect!
