    Timmons and Blake

Makes PFF all worst team. Some may argue that LT don't belongs on there but he's having a horrible season so far. 15 missed tackles so far and steady giving up passes to the TE.

    man, screw PFF...

and give LT a break because I think he is being asked to do way too much as a LB in this defense. I see him in no man's land a lot and it's probably because we are playing zone.

Timmons is just a role player. A good role-player, but a role-player nonetheless. He is Larry Foote 1.5, Earl Holmes 1.5 (he's not the 2.0 version that we would've hoped he'd become). Shazier has that ability. So did Kendrell Bell a long time ago.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Last i read, Timmons has played every snap or close to it.
15 missed is not that bad but he is starting to slow down a bit.
Especially when the D coordinator has him covering Michael Crabtree...

I think Timmons is a very good athlete HOWEVER I don't think he's the sharpest tool in the shed.

Having said that it took him a long time to transition into the league and learn Lebeau's D.

Now he's in a new D and I'm sure things just aren't clicking for him yet.

One of three players in the entire NFL that played every defensive snap of their respective team.

I also think he has been down this year, not all-worst down, but worse than last season, that's for sure.
And next year he is set to make ~15M IIRC, 2nd highest cap hit.

that was annoying. I wouldn't even ask Shaz to cover him and he has the speed to cover him - but, a LB in coverage against a good WR is a bad idea... especially in the redzone

He is being asked to do some crazy shet. I like a lot of things about Butlers Defense, but LBs on WRs is stupid, every time, even in zone. Put in an extra DB, hell put dri archer on him, but don't ask Timmons to do it.

Blake is patently awful. There is no way you can tell me that he's better than Cockrell on the outside. Gay, Cockrell, and Boykin in the slot would actually not be horrible.

Blake is picked on every single game and outside of two huge plays, he's always the worst player on the field.

If he was cut tomorrow, he'd clear waivers without the bat of an eye.

Not true. I'd bat my eyes at Colbert and call him my hero.
