Three excellent representatives of the Steelers went to the VA. Thank you to each and every veteran. My dad served in WWII the stories he has told me over the years are incredible. I don't know that any generation after his would have been able to handle being in the military and fighting wars the way his did. They truly are the greatest generation.

To those who were vigilant so we could rest,
Who gave everything that we might thrive,
Who are silent that we may breathe free,
      We honor you.

It starts with a signature and an oath — a pledge to serve our country and protect our freedom at any cost. For some, that commitment leads to the ultimate sacrifice. On Memorial Day, we remember the men and women who have given everything in their service, honoring their lives and their inspiring legacies.

"My team, may they always be right, but right or wrong...MY TEAM!"
