    There is a third alternative:

The Steelers are happy that he is putting the hurt down on opponents and do not want to take away anything from that. Flying around and hitting people is infectious in football.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

I was responding to the premise that the Steelers tell him every week to "cool it" or something to that effect.

The Steelers are the 8th least penalized team in the league in # of penalties and 15th in penalties yards. No complaints from me.

The difference between Nix and Mitchell is that Nix is a "kid" (he's new to NFL football). I can certainly excuse any field showing-off, on that. Mitchell should be beyond that. Mitchell is a strong hitter and I like that. But he is hardly anyone that I'd like to hang our defensive hat on. He's certainly no (prime) Ryan Clark. Clark was a leader, he was a respectable guy and BTW--he hit harder than Mitchell. Mitchell really is a lesser Clark.

If I could compare him to a Steeler, he maybe is a slightly better Gary Jones (back in the 90's).
I wasn't hired for my disposition.
