They probably won't know more until he has MRI tomorrow. Injuries to the foot can be a long drawn out process. I think Ben's season is over.

Heard on NFL Redzone that the x-rays were negative, so nothing broken and he is having an MRI tomorrow.

Steelers initially suspected Ben Roethlisberger suffered LisFranc injury; feel relieved he didn't. Steelers play Browns next week before bye

Ben Roethlisberger has a mid-foot sprain and is expected to be sidelined "a few weeks", per source.

Whoa... that is BEST-CASE we could ask for!

                  Several things come to mind:
                  1) Ben's body has a remarkable ability to (if this indeed is a "few weeks") not sustain major injury. Going all the way back to his motorcycle incident. It's crazy.

                  2) Not saying he was faking (or ever "fakes"), but we all should know by how that he will tend to "Hollywood" it as much as anyone might.

                  3) If he's able to return this season, I guess we can concede the game he returns in (a Loss), and then hopefully we'll still be around for a playoff run.

First things first; hoping that it is as Shefter is reporting.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Mid foot sprain. Win against the Browns then a bye week. Lose in Seattle now we are 6-5.
Ben comes back and with the bad records in the AFC this year we can get in to the playoffs.

Better yet, start Vick for one play and then put in Landry.

Jones is 2-0 in relief and 0-1 as a starter...

Then, Ben has a bye and can be healthy for Seattle...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Guess we'll have to see how long a "few games" actually is.
