    Jesse James...

...did he just move ahead of Spaeth in the order at TE? James looks like the better player to me...but maybe I'm missing something.

Gives us another good RZ threat...we saw how it worked out on his TD play.

Spaeth is a very good blocker though. Didn't watch James in college so idk about him

that was apparent in the pre season. He's legit. It's been one of my issues with Haley that James isn't in more two TE sets especially in the red zone where his size is a mismatch for any defender. I actually predicted he'd get 5 TDs and have a comparable season to Maxx Williams (who loads of people on here wanted to draft) except we got James a few rounds later. Hopefully this is a sign of more playing time and my prediction could still possibly come true. I think he's got maybe even a little more natural talent than Heath that's how much upside I think he has

He was a blocking monster on that Bryant TD. Just a phenomenal play by the outlaw.

caught 2 passes for 13 yds & TD; signs are promising but not yet ready to anoint him as a better Heath Miller TE just yet.

Great debut for James. Not just the Bryant TD, but he looked to be effective blocking on a few other plays as well.

No, but a better than Spaeth TE? I think so.

This was the first time I recall them playing Renegade prior to a kickoff rather than prior to the first offensive play of an opponent's 4th quarter drive...and by the magic of Renegade, we force a fumble on that very kick return, leading to the first NFL TD by the original Renegade Jesse James. The universe likes to have fun like that sometimes.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

I could see James as the heir apparent to Spaeth - maybe not as good blocking, but a bit better as a receiver.

he is going to be the heir apparent to Heath... won't be as good but will be a solid starting blocker and pass catching TE.

                            another good late rounder.

Heath's great and a true two way TE unlike a lot of these pass catching only or blocking only tight ends you see around the NFL. James has that upside. He's a very good blocker and has size, speed, and great hands to be a weapon. Plus he's learning from one of the best in Heath so I'm glad they drafted him as a replacement while he can learn from him instead of waiting till after Heath retires.
