    Butler first dumb call

Timmons burned but Blake break up the pass and he's come back with the same call.

Not too fond of L. Timmons covering Crabtree on deep routes. Good thing the Steelers' offense came to play today.

That ranks right up there with not covering Gronk at all.

Yes bad call today for sure! But if there was a sack or major pressure we might have not even noticed who was in coverage. Who has been covering WR's every corner or safety blitz! When there is not pressure the defense looks bad all season. And no real pressure from the DE's shows this D is still a work in progress IMO.

Blitzes did not get home and Oakland was not throwing to hot receivers. They did a great job of picking up the blitz, when you blitz if that ball doesn't come out quick there is going to be some mismatches down the field.

Also have Shazier on Cooper, no NT on nickel despite repeated gouging by the run game. At some point they have to consider a 3-3-5 nickel. Shazier is overmatched by OL and easily taken out of the play.

On the early TD to Cooper, it looked like they were using the Gronk defense.

                  Well, Cooper is a rookie.
