Another loss to an inferior team!

To always loose to a bad team where many other teams don't has to fall on the Coaches..

I think this part of the article nails it.......

The tackling was atrocious and the inability to cover tight ends was again at the forefront of
this unit’s problems. Perhaps worst of all was the fact that following a field goal to pull the
team to within three points they let the Chiefs march right down the field to put the game away with a touchdown.
That was something we saw a lot of under Dick LeBeau and it appears it’s now continuing under Keith Butler.
When the offense scores, the defense gives it right back.

This was far from a loss all on the shoulders of the defense however.
If anyone can pinpoint what Todd Haley’s game plan was for the offense please raise your hand.
He came out letting Jones throw, then proceeded to turn into a ground and pound machine.
Suddenly in the third quarter, Le’Veon Bell found himself with no touches for almost
the entire quarter. Perhaps the most head-scratching moment of Haley’s day came with five minutes to play
when his unit was down by 10.
In an instance where the hurry-up offense was a must, the offense acted more
like they were walking in the park on a nice fall day. There was no urgency
and there was no hurry-up whatsoever. If you were wondering why then join the club.

"Coaches coach and players play." One of my favorite football cliches, just ahead of "The standard is the standard."
Obviously the standard is the standard.

we're too lose... this is why we always loose to bad teams

I agree 100% with the article. Even. if Ben played I bet the D would find a way to lose this game.

Yep. We blame the defense when the offense turns the ball over three times. We blame Tomlin for starting the QB with 0 career starts who ends up turning the ball over three times.

Nope. Nobody throws around the term "racist" willy-nilly. There are a few people who have earned the label. That's all.

I didn't see a big problem with the game plan to start. I though to myself that the best opportunity that Jones had to be successful throwing was very early in the game, when the defense was likely planning for a large dose of Bell. And hopefully that was going to get Jones warmed up and in the game and if successful, loosen up the defense for Bell.

We're on our 4th string qb. How many people expected to go .500 with Ben out of the lineup? I expected to beat the chiefs but I'm not surprised we didnt. The chiefs have also played a tough schedule. They are better than their record.

No! You are only what your record says you are! If you have a bad record, you are a bad team and therefore incapable of beating any other teams...

yeah, I agree with this. I expected a win but I'm not shocked by the loss.

I'm shocked at the bad tackling and play calling by Haley

                              It was sarcastic hyperbole...

The NFL is a week-to-week thing...one week you can beat the team with the top scoring offense in the NFL...the next, you can lose to a so-called "bottom-feeder"...it happens every week...
