never happy when we lose. I know his apologists want to believe that about people that question his coaching or lack thereof...because you'd feel better about backing a lame horse. Truth is he is a truly awful coach who was handed a SB caliber team, franchise QB and coaching staff in place. The fact that he was standing on the sidelines when they beat the worst SB team in history I suppose means something. He just never was able to stand on his own and since being thoroughly outcoached vs GB the team hasn't won a playoff game. Have fun lording a Cowher built championship from 7 years ago over people that see the truth. Idiots in MIA use to do that with Shula for well over a decade. People on here sound similar

I don't know how much this one is on the coaches ... don't have to look beyond the execution on the field to explain the loss. LJ came back down to earth today, he was positively Vick-like with some outs and other bad throws that had as much chance of getting picked off as being completed. If he makes a few more 3rd down conversions, who knows how the game would have gone. Can't complain about his play, though, as a rook he could have done much worse.

We had a rookie LT against that beastie guy with the funny name; a rookie QB; a backup Center ... a very young defensive backfield that played more like what we expected them to before they played out of their skulls for the last two weeks ... is anyone really surprised we turned the ball over 3 times, didn't get a defensive turnover, got sacked from the left side on the last play, and in the end we didn't win? This was a rebuilding year on D in August ... it still is.

We got our "6-PACK" - time to work on a CASE!

HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!

Just watched tape on L Jones 1st INT. It was the exact same play that he hit MBryant for a big gain last week. This time he didn't get enough arc on the ball and it was intercepted. It really is a game of inches and I don't know how you can put that on the coaches.

17 carries, 21 touches by Bell in a close game with the 4th string QB starting.

Seriously, who comes up with a game plan like that?

Tomlin gets credit for good game plans around here. He's Teflon Tomlin after a loss, though. They went more than a full quarter with zero touches for Bell. Can not the HC get the OC's ear and ask "WTF are you doing out there?"

The loss goes on Tomlins overall record...

Not sure why you continue to point to Tomlin when everyone is peeling back layers and pointing out faults of players or coordinators.

We know Tomlin is ultimately responsible for wins and losses...there is no need to remind us who the HC is after every game.

I pointed out why this happens...

It is simply a facile way to put the hate out there...

Complaining about a lack of touches without relating it to the defense on the field is pretty lame. Did they stack the line frequently to make us try to beat them with someone other than our best player, like any competent DC would try to do?

I do know I saw a bunch of no-gain runs/maybe even runs for some losses. Maybe that's why we didn't run Bell 40 times?

Typical liberal race baiting. When you can't counter an argument, try to drown out the argument with cries of racism.

Got it. Tomlin supporters are tree-hugging liberals, and Tomlin haters are the real men.

                          Thanks for clarifying!

I've called out more white coaches than black. Just keeping it real, dog.

BTW, David Todd does an excellent job detailing yet another clock management blunder.
