I think we have a kicker

I don't even remember our new kickers name but, I am very surprised and pleased by him. 47 yards, 51 yards and what, a 37 yarder made today. Congratulations to him and the Steelers for finding each other. So far, so good !

Not to mention it was a bad field and all his kicks split the uprights.

No problem. Maybe if I had known his name and started the thread with his name, we wouldn't have double posted. In any event, great start for this kid and he probably would have been a difference maker the other games.

But I like him better than Wing.
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

I thought he was going to do well for us but I have to say, I'm disappointed in him.

He has been a bit erratic but he did hit a 79 yard punt yesterday.

Our punter has a 39.9 net average...out of 28 punts, he's put nearly half (13) inside the 20 with only 1 touchback...

Overall, he's doing a fine job...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Berry is 24th in average (.1 better than Wing) and 18th in net. He's also 13th in lowest return average.

I think Pappy hit the nail on the head - he's been erratic. He's had a few weak punts but really flipped the field with his one big punt. I'd obviously love to see him do that with more consistency, but I like him so far.

As for Boswell, wow. He hit 3 really tough FGs at Heinz Field in some pretty bad conditions. Great addition.

Boswell seemed unfazed and smooth yesterday.

Wish we had him two weeks ago

“I’m so happy for him,” Roethlisberger said. “The thing about him, why he does so well, is he doesn’t care. It sounds weird, but he doesn’t care. We ask him, ‘If we got a chance to win the game, do you want the ball right hash, left hash (or) middle?’ ‘I don’t care.’ That sounds silly, but it’s awesome.”

LOL - that links takes me to, "Welcome to the end of the internet".

But kudos to the Steelers for recognizing that Scoobe dodooo was doing more harm than good and looking for another answer. It appears they found one.
