If the running game stumbles, the outcome will likely be ugly. I don't know how much left the defense has in it after playing the way they did last week. And they need to be as big a part of this game as Bell.
Now that Jones is in the game....who knows? 2 pt conversion was stupid though. These coaches...
Yea, I have to agree with this, the one point was worth more than the two points in that situation. It would have made it a 3 point game and a FG only ties the game, instead it was a 2 point game and FG could have won it. The offenses weren't doing much, it would have been a shame to lose by a point.
I also didn't like the way they managed the final 47 seconds of the first half, had it not been for a Jordan Berry bomb they would have given the Cards a chance for FG. 1st and 10 on your own 14 or there about yard line and 47 seconds, just kneel down and go into the locker room only down 7.
1.21 - Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon - Nick Emmanwori, S, S. Carolina
3.83 - Kaleb Johnson, RB, Iowa - DJ Giddens, RB, Kans St
3.123 - Will Howard, QB, OSU
4.156 - JJ Pegues, DT, Ole Miss
5.185 - Clay Webb, OG, Jack St
7.229 - Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins, DT, Georgia

Only thing I could think of was Tomlin thinking 4 points woid win it the way our D was playing... but it was a horrible gamble IMO.
I think Tomlin read Chip Kelly's 2pt rule and will go for it a lot this season. I think he is out to chase points and force our D to step up this year. I guess we should expect 2 pt conversions this year

I have no problem with the Steelers going for 2 points as often as they see fit, but with Ben at quarterback. We'll see what Landry can do for the next few weeks, maybe, they'll become comfortable with running the 2 point plays as well.
