lol... but, it's true. didn't like the play call, but, a pass would be dumb, though. ZERO confidence in Vick's passing... under center, QB sneak, or bell power run; whatever the case, should be a quick hitting play to save the time since you have a TO left.

Ben even told Bell he had a timeout left (that much I could read on his lips). I'm guessing he said don't burn all 5 seconds - which Bell did.

In the end, I cannot complain about giving it to the best player on your team - I just question broadcasting that you're giving it to him (Wildcat formation).

Since we're all playing Tuesday morning QB here I would have had my Steelers offense line up in the triple option with a FB and 2 halfbacks then probably hand it off to the FB on a quick hitter up the middle. But that's just me and that's probably why I don't coach in the NFL.
Obviously the standard is the standard.

Are you guys serious? The Steelers get a huge win and a thread like this is immediately started for one reason - to sow dissent - and this is on 7up?

          How blind are you people?

He didn't sow dissent. He predicted it. He didn't make it come true. That is on the people who took the bait.
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

He predicted a hypothetical argument moments after the Steelers won an exhilerating game they desperately needed?

              That's what good fans do?

Yep...some posters are their worst enemies and can't help themselves.

Huh? You're not making sense. The fact that he's even trying to predicting is an act of trolling.

And how can you predict something that never happened accurately? If the Sears Tower fell on 9/11, Chicagoans would have rioted and killed anyone who looked like a Muslim.

                    Was that accurate or not?

It happens after every game, regardless of the outcome.

what happens after every win are thread like these that serve no purpose other than for some folks to puff their chests out and act like superfans. pretty silly but whatever turns them on

i haven't seen many anti tomlin posts this year because he is doing a fine job coaching the team through some adversity, but there are a select few here who can't help themselves. i thought manufacturing dissent was an apt description or stirring up sh!t where there isn't any works fine too

lmao... people act like they are forced to post in here.

I think it's a legit question. When a play works a coach is a genius but if Bell didn't get in? It would have been ugly.
