Probably, like I said, I think they have to move Moats over there and rotate in JH and give Dupree the job at LOLB. Jones can still get some plays, but he will have to earn them back by making plays which he isn't doing right now.

I have been wachting JH when he is in, his age is showing. He is not getting there anymore, not beating blocks on rush. Missing tackles down inside do to a lost step it appears. I do not see much help on the offensive side to block him, mainly one on one.

He flips all the time at camp and that is nice versatility to have. He is not special and neither is JJ. Perhaps Chickillo a year from now beats them both out when James rides off into the sunset. Chickillo I would say based on size, speed and motor has a legit shot.

On a positive note, Bud has a quick "get off", though his athleticism was never questioned (on my end). Here's to hoping he can get continuous improvement and at least hold down one of the OLB spots for years to come.

I actually feel good about Dupree on the left side going forward. It is ROLB where the problems seem to remain. Would be Christmas in July if Chickillo turned into a solid answer for that position

Chickillo doesn't have the speed you want in a ROLB. He's a strong-side guy, just like Dupree.

Give him a shot. JJ can't get to the passer.

Glad someone posted this so I didn't have too.

                    Jarvis Jones is SLOW.
I took heat for pointing out how slow JJ was while chasing a scrambling QB in a preseason game during his rookie yr.
Last night I watched (in person) JJ in pursuit of Flacco (rolling away from his body) and he was painfully slow. It was sad.

So he shows a few flashes of strength but I've said it a million times. Go look at his college highlights. All but 2 of his sacks were 1 on 1 vs Tackles. The rest were stunts.

I can't say JJ is a disappointment bc from day 1 it was obvious he didn't have mid 1st round talent.

Better you said it than me so the attack dogs remain under control. Bottom line is you are right. Maybe others will see it now

Attack dogs are the things that continue the attack long after the need to attack has passed...

Anyone who can't see it isn't worth reasoning with.

Obviously the coaching staff sees it now due to the fact that he's playing only 1/3 of the snaps at this point.
Losing them to an aging veteran who was brought back to get 20-25 snaps a game.

So a 3rd year First Round pick is a 12 hr./wk. Part Time worker.

Do the Steelers get an Obamacare exemption for him??

In the game they won, against St. Louis, JJ played more snaps than Harrison...
