Who was the guy who wont let his family watch Vick play for the Steelers?

There was a guy on here who said he would turn the channel of Vick was the QB.

Just wondering if he is sticking by his word?

I wonder if all those Steeler fans who signed that petition will stick to their guns?

LMAO... gotta love the football karma gods. They know how to test football fans.

Ive thought about the same things...petitions signers probably just feel dumb now.

Being one snap away from a Landry Jones led team is better than having a landry jones led team, every time.

True. So, Felt is merely holding him accountable. It's easy to blow smoke. Do I believe this guy will stop watching? No.
        Trolls are people too.

If he stands by his word, much respect. If not, faux morality does not impress me...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

One man's morals is another's inability to offer forgiveness to a person who's paid his debt to society and has used his platform to positively work for animal rights.

Also, any of you who turn on CBS at 8:25 Thursday night are fully advocates of dog fighting. Might as well be building pits in your back yard.

Haven't you heard? The evil Mike Vick employing and dog track owning Rooney family has decided to hold a halftime Frisbee dog demonstration at Heinz. Any dog that allows a disc to touch the grass gets drowned in the Allegheny afterward.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

                      Yep that was me...

But to set the record straight, my family is grown and is welcome to do whatever they are comfortable with... But we all agreed that we could not watch Vick... when he came into the game last Sunday we switched the channel to another game... pretty simple.

I've been a die hard Steelers fan since 1969, probably longer than some of you on here have been alive... I had personal connections with some Steelers players back in the late 80's and early 90's and even trained with these players at the Three Rivers weight room and out on the practice field. My whole family Bleeds Black N Gold... But our moral convictions outweigh a football game... I suggested to my family that they could watch the defense and switch it of when POS Vick comes into the game... but not sure if they will even do that.

To each his own of course.

I feel like I have as high of a personal moral standard as the next guy. But if I convinced myself I needed to shut off the game anytime there was a player involved that did something that was against my personal code of morals, I'm not sure I could find a game to watch.

I get why people were and are outraged. At the same time, it would personally offend me more to have witnessed Adrian Peterson beat his child bloody than to watch Michael Vick beat his dog to death. I think in both cases, both men were doing what they saw and experienced and were desensitized to in the environments they were brought up in. Vick did his time and whether he is deep down sorry for his actions or not, I don't see the point in ignoring the Steelers when he's playing. I didn't like the signing but more because of his play than his past.

He probably would be the first one to make a post if Vick screw up tomorrow, but something tells me he would know by watching it live.
