Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.
Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.
We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.
We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.Comment

Actually I think he was good enough, he provides a much needed spark into a Cleveland offense that is vanilla at best with Mccown. Mccown will get a chance to keep his job but I think he is on a very short leash now that Manziel came in and showed that he can play .Comment

With Manziel, you may get a couple of 50+ yard TD passes to Travis Benjamin, but also at least one awful interception and at least one lost fumble.
With McCown, you may not have those turnovers, but Travis Benjamin's stat line might look like 3 catches for 15 yards and 0 TD's than 3 catches for 115 yards and 2 TD's.
Would you rather Manziel higher ceiling or McCown higher floor?Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

I really don't understand the hate towards Manziel. Do I believe he will be Steeler Kryptonite? He may become a pain in our rear at some point, but that day isn't today. I'm one of the lone believers that he has NFL caliber skill and could become a real threat if he keeps his head on straight, stays healthy and stays sober.Trolls are people too.Comment

I thought he would be a problem as well but I think he peaked. He may be fun to watch and make the games more interesting but he was also a punk his last year in college.
You either like him or you hate him.Steelers 27

Well, ok you have me...I do understand it I suppose. I just don't agree with it. He's fun to watch, he has been a character. I don't have any hate towards him. Where I disagree with the masses is the fact that I don't think he has peaked out. I'm watching him improve every game. Obviously, there are still massive problems with his game, specifically holding onto the ball. With that said, if the Browns are patient...yes I believe he could be a problem for the Steelers down the road.you don't understand the hate? Cmon... I know you understand it.

I would rather have the higher ceiling, because with time and experience I think you can raise his floor. Mccown is what he is at this point and with that offense around him I think his ceiling is very low. With Manziel, you may get a couple of 50+ yard TD passes to Travis Benjamin, but also at least one awful interception and at least one lost fumble.
