Pretty even today. Both had 3 punts. Wing had about a 2 yard advantage in average.

Didn't Jerry pin them at the 1 leading to the Safety?

Right now it doesn't look like we can go wrong either way. I read something last week that the best holder for FGs and x-points will get the position on the Final 53.

Berry was the punter but that play was all on Blake and insane hustle. That's going into the endzone for sure without Blake's ability to track it down and stop on a dime and not fall across the line.

That was a hell of a play...

Went back through some of my camp notes on these two punters. Wing was slightly longer but lower with his punts and Berry had the better hang times. Close at camp and still close. Good chance both guys will be punting in the league this year. Not sure we will want to go with a rookie punter 2 years in a row but it is close.

When was the last time we had the dilemma of two good punters?

We desperately need Chadman's input on which Aussie punter we should keep.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Read something similar, but IIRC the guy was saying that he looks to see who is getting holder duty. The assumption was that the guy who you see holding is the one they are looking at keeping.

Just wondering why? Is it just hang time? Remember that our punter is also the holder on extra point attempts and field goals.

Berry had 2 massive punts today. May have won the starting gig today.

                            I certainly hope so.
Just watching Wing last year, he lacks when it comes to pressure situations (e.g. kicking out of endzone, bad weather conditions). He didn't seem to rise to the occasion, when faced with adversity.

I was at the game yesterday. When he boomed that 78 yarder there was almost a gasp in the crowd. Hard to do with so many people drunk and partying it up.
