What corners can we reasonably count on being there in at 56

I'm particularly thinking of Rollins, but I'd like to know if we can afford to skip a Corner in Round 1 (i.e. if Kevin Johnson gets taken, the only CB worth taking there IMO). I don't want Byron Jones (too smart), I don't want Peters (immature), I don't want Collins (can't start in college).

I do want Rollins, but he isn't worth 22. I fear he would be gone by 56. Curious who else we can expect to see there?
I wasn't hired for my disposition.

Possibly Eric Rowe and Ronald Darby.

Jones is too smart? That has to be a first that a player can be too smart. If anything that has always been viewed as a positive

Byron Jones was the Steelers' pick in the 1st round of the ESPN NFL Nation Mock Draft today.

I personally would have selected Marcus Peters....

Others may have a higher floor but IMO Jones could have higher ceiling

I've heard buzz on Rowe as a potential late first round guy. I'd love him or Rollins in the second. As mentioned above, Alex Carter is a real possibility. Dale Lolley thinks that Jalen Collins could be there in the second. I even saw one mock draft that has Peters in the second, but I doubt that happens.

Rowe or Collins would be IDEAL in round 2

                    NFLDraftScout CB projections:

Round 1: Trae Waynes, Kevin Johnson, Byron Jones.

Rounds 1-2: Marcus Peters, Ronald Darby, Eric Rowe, Jalen Collins

Round 2: Quinten Rollins, D'Joun Smith

                    Rounds 2-3: P.J. Williams

Round 3: Josh Shaw, Steven Nelson, Doran Grant

Rounds 3-4: Alex Carter, Ifo Ekpre-Olomo, Senquez Golson

                    Round 4: Craig Mager
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
