    Get vince wilfork!!

I think this guy could really help us for a year or two. I can see him at the NT and at the same time allow Butler to transition to a 4-3 on some downs with McClendon and McCullars at tackles to keep everyone fresh. Also, with our lack of linebacker depth Vince Williams could be the old style middle linebacker and bring the wood! I happen to hear through the grapevine that Wilfork is really pi**ed at the Pats so the first game could be revenge time for him. They say defense starts up front so lets try it.

Moderately interesting if he can still walk.

If we are going to spend money there...I'll take Dan Williams or Phil Taylor. McClendon is in his final year & he has some flexibility.

Taylor could be interesting. I'm a bit concerned about his injury history (only played 16 games in his rookie season but did have a 15 game season), but coming off an injury he could be affordable. At 26, he could be a nice option for a few years. McLendon is already 29. You could also work in some looks with a 4 man front getting both Taylor and McLendon on the field.

I like Williams but suspect he will be overpaid by the Raiders.

No thanks! Playing just 1 or 2 downs isn't worth it and if he's on the field the opponent will just run the HURRY UP OFFENSE just to keep this OLD DUDE on the field even longer.

          HARD PASS!

If we are going to sign a player to just play LIMITED SNAPS why not sign "SAY IT WITH ME" REGGIE BUSH! At least his legs would be fresh and it would be at a position in which that is kinda important.

            Just saying.

IIRC, the Steelers looked pretty hard at Phil Taylor prior to the draft...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.
