    Steelers Resign Spaeth

To a two year deal per numerous reports. I have not seen the numbers yet.

Good move. He doesn't offer much as a receiver but he is a great asset in the running game.

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Receptions etc dont tell the whole story. Id like to see numbers for the running game with and without him on the field but im not sure those numbers exist.

This is a good signing. He's made himself into a blocking force. Got to have a 2nd TE. He's a very nice choice.

                  In the next Steelers-Ravens game:

                  1. Line Spaeth up at left tackle (and be the left-most person on the line of scrimmage).
                  2. Have Archer report as ineligible.
                  3. Throw the ball to Spaeth.
                  4. Watch John Harbaugh melt down on the sideline.

This is something the 2015 Steelers should definitely do.

Archer pretty much was an ineligible receiver during his rookie year, so at least he used to that role.

And people say its harder to repeat and win multiple SB's now than it was in the 70's and 80's. HOGWASH. It's just the opposite. It's easier now to just go out and get what you need to win. You just gotta do it wisely. (Cap)

I doubt any of those are future Patriots.

Johnson probably will want more money than Pats will pay.
Harvin couldn't play for Pete Carroll - he wouldn't last long in Belichick's locker room.
I think the Pats are happy with their TE corps at present - they're carrying three TEs and a true FB.

But nobody knows what the Hoodie will do. My guess is we'll be sitting on the sidelines this year.
