                It seems that the "athletic qb" trend just won't go away.
                He's a camp arm though, and if we're looking for a future back up it won't come via an early signing like this.

                    He wasn't a stiff in college or anything. In each of his 3 seasons as a starter, he had over 3800 yards passing and 30-something TD passes each year. Of course, it does help when you are throwing to the likes of Sammy Watkins, DeAndre Hopkins, and Martavis Bryant. For a guy off the street in March, we could do worse.
                    Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

                    Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

                            I may be the only one happy with this signing. I think he'll be better than Landry Jones, to be honest. I wanted him drafted by the Steelers.
