2. Wells has already found out enough to learn that the Patriots have been set-up, and there are other, more "interesting" parties to interview.
*. The fix is in and the story is going to be whatever Roger Goodell decides the story is going to be.

I'm inclined to go with (2), but I can see how people on this board might go with (A) or (*).
