    Mike Glennon

Is on the block. I would trade a 5th for him in a heartbeat. Looked good beating us.

So did Michael Vick. Im fine with Bruce Gradkowski. He knows the system and I believe he could win a game or two for us if he had to. I would love Gleenon as a #3 but I doubt thats the kind of job or money Glennon would be looking for.

Gradkowski looked awful in preseason last year. I'd rather have someone who has played a meaningful game in the last couple of years and is young

I would trade for Glennon with a 5th round pick. Take him in...groom him and get him adjusted to our system and takes over for Roethlisberger if he doesn't come back.

There is a reason Glennon didn't start for Tampa who had the worst record in the league. They also have some very good WRs so the QB was the problem.

Ben isnt going anywhere, and if he did you would really want Mike Glennon as his replacement?

Glennon isn't a game changer but he is better than Grad. I believe Glennon can be an Andy Dalton like back up for us.

why would we want to sign a backup QB when we already have Landry Jones?

I saw a couple of games where Glennon didn't look all that impressive.

Steelers' D has made more than a few journeymen and scrub QBs look good over the past several years.

Nobody is saying Glennon is awesome. However he is better than anything we have behind Ben now. He is young and will only get better.

I haven't seen you around and had a chance to slap you on the back for that one. Many scouts were calling him a 2 down, stiff.

Glennon has been playing with great WRs, yes. So was Josh McCown, and he looked equally mediocre. McCown also looked great the year before with great WRs in Chicago.

There is a lot more to it than just the QB and WRs, obviously. Tampa's coaching situation and offensive line certainly haven't done Glennon any favors. I would absolutely trade a 5th for him. Even a 4th. You never know what you'll get at that point in the draft - you at least know Glennon can be a competitive NFL QB.
