Will that only goes so far just like a normal job. I'm a team player but, there is point where the company or team is crossing the line? At that point I would then, take drastic measures.

Don't know the behind the scenes of what happen but, I'm sure there is more to this story than what we know....

I don't think Blount planned any of this. He was mad about his playing time and threw a hissy fit and it worked out for him.Basically he fell in a sewer and came out with a gold watch.

Rooney agrees with decision to cut Blount.

Everyone is focusing on Blount's game against Indy. Well, Indy sucks out loud against the run. In the last 3 games for NE v. IND, Blount ran for 3 TD's last week, Jonas Gray ran for 4 TD's during the regular season matchup, and Blount ran for 4 TD's in their playoff matchup last year. Those two guys rushed for over 500 yards and 11 TD's in those 3 games against Indy. That's insane, but it's certainly more of an indictment of Indy's weakness (Jonas Freaking Gray's game against Indy was actually more impressive than either of Blount's phenomenal games against the Colts, and Gray has never done a damn thing against anyone else ever, so it would appear that any NE RB would go bonkers against the Colt rush D).

The question posed was would we have beaten Baltimore with Blount on our roster. Well, after Baltimore played us in the playoffs without Blount, they played New England in the playoffs with Blount in back-to-back weeks. Against Baltimore's strong rush defense in the playoffs, Blount had 3 carries for 1 yard and no catches. Read that line again if you really think Blount would have made a huge difference.

For comparison's sake, against Baltimore's strong rush defense in the playoffs the week before, Josh Harris had 9 carries for 25 yards and 2 catches for 6 yards, Ben Tate had 5 carries for 19 yards and 2 catches for 9 yards, and even Will Johnson outperformed Blount against Baltimore with a whopping 1 carry for 3 yards.

Whaddaya say that we put the "Blount could have been the difference vs. Baltimore" myth to rest, shall we?
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
