    Probably Vince Williams...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

what are your thoughts on the Steelers possibly switching to a 4-3 defense?

Thank you for asking. My thoughts are with Heyward and Tuitt being our best pass rushers it will be due next season. Worilds likely will be gone. Jones looks like a average pick and therefore we have a tremendous void for pass rushing OLBs that the 3-4 needs. Just drafting more won't fix it soon.

But, since they have been playing 1 gap instead of 2 gap 3-4 the OLB are not quite as important in the pass rush. You will see the sacks spread out a bit over the DL and LBrs.

They have been playing McClendon at a 1 tech instead of the traditional Casey Hampton 0 tech. Heyward has made most of his big plays this season at the 3 tech instead of the traditional 5 tech.

LeBeau is switching up what his defense calls for and it is paying off...one Jones fully rehabilitates from his wrist injury and Shazier continue to mature as a player, it will add even more to this D...

Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

The Chiefs poached Nick Williams off our practice squad about a month or so ago.

We'd have ZERO 4-3 DE's. None. They are kind of important if you want to run a 4-3. Plus both Heyward and Tuitt would be quality 3-technique under tackles...neither would fit a 1-technique on the nose. Keep dreaming, though.

I guess it depends. If you run a 4-3 with an "elephant" or "leo" style DE, it could work...

But, that ends up functioning like a 1 gap 3-4...
