lol...hey persistence pays off. You gotta play the numbers game. Say something long enough and eventually you will be right. I mean we essentially do play a 4-3. We just do it with 3-4 personnel. Once you go to a one gap 3-4, you are playing a 4-3 with faster players.

Its one thing to be aggressive. Its another thing to be retarded. I think we all love the fact that Mike Tomlin is more aggressive in his approach than Bill Cowher was. At least I do. But at some point common sense has to prevail. What was Tomlin thinking? The defense has played well all game. Andy Dalton was erratic all game. We got good pressure all game. Why not pin the Bengals back deep and play defense?

Even more disturbing than the call was the play itself. What was that supposed to be? You send Ross Ventrone in motion? My wife and I both said at the same time, "Oh my God they are gonna fake it". If we saw it coming, then guess what? So did the Bengals. If you are gonna do something so risky, and least have a decent fake play in your pocket to call. That was the worst attempt at a fake I have ever seen.

Finally, the play was doomed from the start. Guys were out of position. It was obvious to me the Bengals knew what was coming. CALL A TIMEOUT!!!! It was painfully apparent that play wasnt going to work while they were lining up to run it. Call the timeout and kick the ball.

The defense bailed Tomlin out big time here. If the defense, that Tomlin showed little faith in, didnt put the game away with a turnover, imagine what the headlines would be today?
