2005 scenario is now in effect..

The similarities : 1. must win remaining 4 to guarantee a playoff birth. 2. All winnable game, although tough but still winnable..

the differnces : 1.winning remaining four woul get us a division win instead of a wild card birth. 2. This is not the 2005 steelers team.... But maybe they can come together and make us remember them like we remember the 2005 team....

They don't necessarily have to win out, but yeah, both teams were/ are 7-5.... thats about it.

All we need is the 2005 offensive line and 2005 defense. When do they get here?

All 'winnable' games. This is Tomlin's Steelers. Not sure what is winnable anymore.

When we drive up and down the field merely to kick FGs? Baaaaaad things happen...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

That's just it. All this offensive talent and no TD's. All that Bell is to this team and only three rushing touchdowns. Maybe that is something that isn't important but, a stat that I thought as weak since this guy has run so many yards.

We have a 1000 yard rusher, a 1200 yard receiver, and a 101 rating QB at this point of the season already. It shouldn't feel so hopeless.

too inconsistent. too average on defense. can they put together a run? certainly. can they peak in december? it's possible. but the odds of them getting hot, winning all 4 and then going through (likely) denver and new england seems rather long.

Comes down to line play, and both sides of the ball the lines are merely average. Sure you could point to a player or two that are a notch above average, but in aggregate the defensive and offensive lines are very average.
