Ha ha. Now perhaps that NE fan will explain why Belichick, with all his great people skills, allowed Blount to get away last spring. Or why he couldn't bring himself to get rid of Hernandez, who was causing problems long before the murders.

Or why the almighty Belichick found the need to cheat.

Sounds like a "why can't we be more like New England" post on this board.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Blount apparently thought he would have a chance to establish himself as the No. 1 back when he signed. But the Steelers have too much talent at the position with LeVeon Bell. He also started to give a half-hearted effort in the past few weeks. When he got a chance as a kick off returner, he seemed very nonchalant. The Patriots top rusher only has 340 yards so he should be able to get more touches with them. That still might not satisfy him, if he isn't the main back.

Or is he a double agent, reporting back to the Steelers what he learns at NE team meetings???
I mean he is still on our payroll through next year...

But that would mean people on this board would have to start writing Steelers* on every post.

                Surely you can't be serious?

I thought Blunt was the listening device.

Or maybe Blount was the listening device and is now headed back to the mothership to have the data downloaded.

You make a good point. Probably better that we dont taint our 7th Lombardi with an asterisk.

Well, there are some jagoffs on this board who want the Steelers to be more like the Pats*...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

Wait, after watching this team over the past three years, are you guys really looking ahead to a matchup with NE deep in the AFC playoffs? Beat the Saints, please.

If the Pats* are the top seed in the AFC and we win our division, we would not likely meet them until the AFCCG.
Speed bumps along the way might include the likes of Miami and Denver.

I'll take the guy the Patriots released for Blount...Casey Walker. NT...6'1" 335...He's been coming on. If McClendon's shoulder looks like a reoccurring trend in 2014...Which it does...You will need some depth at NT. Send Justin Brown to the PS & Bring in Walker. Get him into the system before playoffs. If Thomas has to be relied on to play NT...We are in trouble. If we have McClendon & McCullers...We are good. If it is McCullers & Thomas...Trouble. We have no NT on the PS so they better really evaluate McClendons shoulder & be sure.
