This stat is pretty great. With 9 men in the box, indicating that Tenn was stacking vs the run, Bell ran 9 times for 83 yards. Not only does this say a lot about Bell, but it speaks volumes about our O-line. They were EATIN' in that fourth quarter. Love it

Our Oline is looking very good. FWP was great because of that line, and Bell is better than FWP was. This line improves and we just get better. Love the balance that Ben can legitimately choose from, not just putting the team on his back anymore to win.

Things are looking up gents. Let's hope the injury bug stays away.

FWP was gone before this line was put together. I think Foster may have been the only one around in FWP's last season in PGH.

I meant the line that FWP had. Sorry. Typing inbetween classes is probably a bad idea. His line was good and he looked better for it. Bell's line is also good, and he will only improve.

I knew what you meant. FWP had a pretty veteran line if I recall. Marvel, Kendall Simmons, Hartings... I love the idea that this current o-line is young and starting to come into their own

Ahh not gloom and doom over here. BUT this line was not good against the Jets. Very inconsistent O line it seems to me in run blocking and pass blocking. One game monsters in the run game then no so much next game. Then monsters in the passing game then not so much. No sure why that is.

Jets dline is far from the norm when it comes to talent.

Even in the second ravens game the line started shaky (3 sacks in a row) then were lights out. They arent going to win every battle on every snap, but thats like knocking a QB for throwing an incomplete pass

I don't expect the O-line to be monsters in every game for every snap. But there have been games were they were bad when we needed them to be average at least for a chance to win. Just give us a chance in every game is what I am looking for. Will help Ben look more consistent also. I guess I am looking for more of a balance if you will.

As good as the Jets Dline is, the Titans is Dline is that bad. Before yinz get too carried away, Titans defense is 31st in the league in rush yds/att. Still think the Steelers OL is average to marginally above.

they are a talented front, especially in the interior.

steelers are not a top 5 oline...but i think they have grown to a top 10 unit. Even if pouncey and decastro arent great on their own ( i think top 3 center, top 5 guard) they are filthy good together
