    Nate Washington

Cool that Nate gave props to the Steelers org for giving him a shot in the NFL when no one else would. Said he "would always have a place in his heart for the Steelers".

I liked Nate and didn't really want to see him leave. That was a good thing he did and now that the Steelers have won the game, I'm glad he scored a TD.

Guys say this a lot. More than any team I can't think of. Think of porter and Harrison when they left.

Washington is still really fast, a poor route runner with shaky hands but he has carved out a nice career for himself in the 6 years since he left

His career numbers compare very favorably to Santonio Holmes.

Who woulda thunk that a nobody from Tiffin would have carved out a solid 10 year NFL career.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.

Nate got a lot of hate from fans when he was here for some reason. I always thought he was pretty good in his role.

well... Ovi is consistent. As soon as a player leaves the Steelers he is dead to Ovi.

Not sure if he was in that boat but back then the Trib used to bash Nate for his hands. Never understood how people could bash a #3WR from Tiffin who had 6 or 7 TD's. His production was spectacular for a #3.

Does this mean that William Gay is a zombie, back from the dead?

Zombie Gay must have eaten the brains of our defensive coordinator and free safety.

If you aren't consistent how much does what you say really mean? And yes, I could give a rat's booty about a player who leaves the Steelers. That I have always been consistent on. I am a fan of the Steelers not temporary carbon units especially those who choose to leave the team. Why should any Steelers fan care about a player on another team? How does that help the Steelers be successful and win in the here and now and the future?
