Bye At The Perfect Time...Going Into The Bye The Best Way Possible...

Going into the bye 3 games above .500 is way better than going in only 1 game above .500...IMHO, it is a huge psychological lift...

Also, swiftly dealing with Blount's after-game pouting shenanigans is also a huge help...addition by subtraction...cutting loose the ballast that could hold you down...

Provided that some of our players can get healthy and start practicing, things could be looking up defensively...

Finally, while a few posters harp on the 1-8 vs. .200 teams, I will counter with this stat:

Tomlin's teams are 6-1 in the regular season after a bye week...8-1 if you count the postseason...

Just take care of business over the bye week and take care of business at home against New Orleans...
Actually, my post was NOT about you...but, if the shoe fits, feel free to lace that &!+€# up and wear it.

8-4 well within reach...not too shabby considering last year!

For LeGarrette Blount, it was the "bye-bye" week...

It also gives them time to sort through the running back situation and make a move, but have a little bit of time to do so if they choose to bring someone in for a look.

Jones is hoping to start practicing after the bye week and has targeted dec 14th against atlanta as his return.

He still doesnt have full strength or range of motion in his wrist

Too bad the team went and tarnished their new favorite go-to stat, beating a .200 team this weekend. I'm sure multiple posters were upset about that fact.
Steeler teams featuring stat-driven, me-first, fantasy-football-darling diva types such as Antonio Brown & Le'Veon Bell won no championships.

Super Bowl winning Steeler teams were built around a dynamic, in-your-face defense plus blue-collar, hard-hitting, no-nonsense football players on offense such as Hines Ward & Jerome Bettis.

We don't want Juju & Conner to replace what we lost in Brown & Bell.

We are counting on Juju & Conner to return us to the glory we once had with Hines & The Bus.
