kill yourself is something the younger kids have been saying for the last few years. First time I heard my nephew say it at a family function we had to check him on it. Slang or not... it's just not a good thing to say to someone.

It really isn't expressing a true desire for someone to actually commit suicide...it is, however, a poor choice of words...
